Tips for Choosing Hair Dye Shades

Once upon a time it was only people who had white hair that used to color hair, however, over the years, more and more people are using it as a fashion statement. Hair dye is now used to change one’s looks and to brighten the skin tone.

While most women look great with different types of hair dye shades, there are some women who repent dyeing their hair because of using the wrong color. Basically, hair color shades are made from various combinations of the three basic colors, red, blue and yellow.

When you choose your hair color, you have to do so keeping your skin tone in mind. And instead of trying on different colors to choose the right color for your hair, it is better to experiment with the help and use of virtual hair styling tools.

If you are looking for blonde looks, dark blonde color looks great on most people; however if you are not happy with it, you could consider light brown colors like honey, caramel and bronze. However avoid using light blonde shades like cream and hay.

Of the lot, brown hair color is the most preferable option for coloring hair, where its darker shades like chocolate, rust and cinnamon are the best choices. If you prefer red shades, you can choose between dark colors like dark burgundy and medium colors like copper red colors. However don’t use light red hair color unless your hair is naturally a light red color.

Grey hair dye shades are usually used by people who want to cover their naturally grey colored hairs. However when you choose your color, make sure that it is two times darker than your actual hair color.  Now that you know what options you have in hair colors, and which hair colors should be avoided, you find it faster and easier to make your choice of hair color.
