Hair Coloring Ideas

Wondering what to do with your hair? Why not try coloring it! Here are a few hair coloring ideas that may work for you. Of course, if they don’t, you can always simply select a standard hair color and go with it.

•    Try non-permanent dyes first. These dyes often wash out within a few weeks or a month at most. What’s great about them is that you can experiment with various colors. Some of these temporary dyes come in crazy colors like bright red or purple, so you can really experiment with hair coloring ideas.
•    Do two different colors. Some people with longer hair will pull it back in a ponytail and color that part a different color. Others will color the bottom layer of their hair darker than the top. Still others only color their bangs.
•    Go opposite. If you’ve always had dark hair, try lightening it up dramatically. On the other hand, if you’ve always been blonde, go dark. Be aware, though, that once blonde hair is dyed black, it can be very difficult to get it back to blonde again. Even temporary dyes tend to last longer on really light hair.
•    If you’re having trouble deciding on which hair coloring to go with, ask a professional stylist. They have learned which color combinations and shades work best with different skin tones and looks. Trust their judgment—they know hair coloring.
